It's not surprising that Brian Piccioni in his study The Hydrogen Economy for BMO Nesbitt Burns has such a bearish view on the adoption of hydrogen technologies. He has taken a very narrow and linear view of its potential use as a source of power generation. Yes the holy grail of the hydrogen fuel cell industry is the automotive mass market which explains why the auto industry is such a big backer of the technology.
