At Simple® Shoes we believe how we make our shoes is just as important as WHY we make them. Our Fall 2008 collection demonstrates the next step to our commitment to making our products 100% sustainable. Our footwear and bag collections prove that eco-friendly products can be comfy, affordable, and look pretty sweet.

Green Toe™ We introduced Green Toe in Fall 2005, and as a result, we’ve changed just about everything in our product line. Green Toe showed us that it’s not only possible to reduce the ecological footprint left by shoes, but that it’s our duty to do so. Green Toe represents our best effort towards making shoes more planet-friendly. For the Fall 2008 season we are introducing cold weather Green Toe footwear made with certified organic cotton fleece, bamboo wedge heels, natural latex and cork blended topsoles, and our weather-proof Rubbahyde™ (natural latex on textile backing).

ecoSNEAKS™ are made with hemp, certified organic cotton, recycled car & bike tires, and ISO 14001 certified suede and BLC leathers. Cool details feature stripes that are made from recycled inner tubes. Additional comfort is incorporated with a newly designed ortholite/recycled car tire blend “Pedbed” (footbed). The colorful collection features bright and exciting printed uppers and linings for the ladies, and sport inspired sneakers for dudes.

Green Piggies The Weebit, our hemp and organic cotton baby bootie is now available in a new variety of colors and prints like polka dots and plaid.

ecoSNEAKS Tiny ecoSNEAKS consist of a great variety of spring colors and prints on the insoles.

Bags We’ve brought our sustainable goodness into a collection of bags. Lively prints in plaid, polka dots, and neat colors highlight our collection of eco-friendly messenger bags and laptop sleeves.
