Bike to the Future

Bike to the Future is a voluntary, inclusive group of concerned citizens working to make cycling in Winnipeg a safe, enjoyable, accessible and convenient transportation choice year-round.

Bike to the Future envisions a city where cycling is embraced as the preferred mode of transportation, where cycling is integrated into urban design and planning, and where Winnipeg is recognized as a leader in cycling infrastructure and programs.

  Our activities are all run by volunteers. Please show your support for our work by becoming a member.

• Attend a Monthly Meeting
  Learn about current initiatives and contribute to discussion.

• Join a Neighbourhood Commuter Cycling Group
  Are you interested in becoming involved but don’t know how? Do you
  prefer to work within your own neighbourhood? Do you have a bike route
  idea that needs local support?

• Join a Bike to the Future committee or subcommittee
  Are you interested in civic or provincial policy? Do you have a knack
  for pulling off a successful event? Whatever your angle, you can
  contribute to making the bicycle the preferred mode of transportation.
