In the early fall the provincial government launched a consultation
process as part of its efforts to modernize the Non-Profit
Incorporation Act here in Ontario. The Centre for Social Innovation is
proud to be among the group convening to address this issue and to
build the capacity of the sector to engage and respond to the
governmentís plans. An Expert Reference Group has been organized to
both make sense of the government consultation papers and to help to
develop a response that will serve the small and medium sized public
benefit nonprofits in Ontario. They’ve released their response to the
