AquaNet’s mission is to foster a sustainable aquaculture sector in Canada through high quality research and education. Its vision is to help achieve the long-term viability and sustainability of the aquaculture sector by significantly contributing to: a diversified aquaculture; harmonization of the aquaculture sector with other aquatic resource users; and integration with other aquatic industrial sectors under a management plan that has widespread support of the Canadian public.
