Staples Business Depot launches ‘Lights-Out’ Program to Reduce the Electricity Consumed

A Little Light Can Go Along Way.
The ?Lights-Out? program will significantly save energy by reducing the heat load in the building making it easier for the heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to keep the building cool.
? ?Lights out? will reduce energy in stores by 300KW/ per day
? 76 days in the program which means 22800KW / per store
? 148 stores are participating which is 3,374,400KW
? Approx anticipated dollars avoided: $250,000
