Conservatives muzzling environment commissioner, says Green party

OTTAWA (CP) – The leader of the Green party claims Canada’s environment commissioner is being muzzled by the Conservative government.
Elizabeth May says Environment Commissioner Johanne Gelinas, whose recent report called for dramatic action on climate change, has been told she can no longer file separate, independent reports.
