Hello all,
June is seeming like it is going to be a quiet month for us as school is wrapping up for the year. We are hoping to host a few stewardship activities over the summer and in September. I will keep you all posted as things come up.
Of course, we do have some volunteers opportunities for the month of June. Here they are:
1) NWPS is participating in Earth: The World Urban Festival in June. Our booth will focus on youth stewardship activities and water quality testing with invertebrates (an art project will also be at our booth!) We are looking for volunteers to help out with the booth during the festival, offering you great way to get involved with such a wonderful event. I have listed several 3-4 hour shifts below (they can be flexible). If you are interested in helping out, please email me and let me know what days and times you would like to help out with.
June 21- 2pm to 5pm
June 21- 5pm to 8pm
June 22- 10am to 1pm
June 22- 1pm to 4pm
June 22- 4pm to 8pm

June 23- 1pm to 4pm
June 23- 4pm to 8pm
June 24- 11am to 2pm
June 24- 2pm to 5pm
June 24- 5pm to 8pm
June 25- 11am to 2pm
June 25- 2pm to 5pm
I will be at the booth during the above hours so not to worry, you will not be running the booth by yourself.
Please visit the festival’s website to learn more about the event: http://www.worldurbanfestival.com/
2) Update the NWPS Event display board.
We are looking for a creative, crafty person to help update our event board for the festival and display photos and information about our stewardship projects in a fun and attractive manner. We are looking for someone who is available to come into the office during office hours (Monday to Friday (9 am to 5pm). If this is you, please email me at bphillips@northwestwildlife.com
I hope everyone is well and thank you all some much for you help over the past few months. It was a very busy and successful spring for us and we couldn’t have done it all without you!
