There’s nothing new about the latest alternative fuel to catch the eye of the federal government. It’s the same fuel that the previous Liberal government was committed to making more available across the country. As the Conservative government looks for an alternative to the Kyoto Protocol, it announced ? on May 23, 2006 ? that the provinces are on board with a plan to have all Canadian gasoline contain five per cent ethanol by 2010.
