(Toronto: February 08, 2006) – Improved Efficiency Rules Would Help Meet Kyoto, Save Money — At a press conference today, World Wildlife Fund Canada (WWF-Canada) is calling on the new Minister of Natural Resources, The Hon. Gary Lunn, to use the national Energy Efficiency Act to upgrade and expand minimum energy performance standards for both domestic and commercial equipment that draws close to a quarter of this country?s energy. Canadian households and businesses would use less energy, save money, and reduce global warming pollution if energy efficiency rules were improved. – WWF Canada
