OTTAWA, May 11, 2004 – The Honourable David Anderson, Minister of the Environment and the Honourable Pierre Pettigrew, Minister of Health today published a draft scientific assessment of polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) commonly used as flame retardants.
