Fisheries and Oceans Canada signing sockeye’s death warrant

OTTAWA (June 03, 2004) ? Fisheries and Oceans Canada is signing the death warrant for two populations of sockeye salmon by refusing them an emergency listing under the Species at Risk Act, warns the Canadian Nature Network in its annual report card on species at risk.
