If you draw a line connecting Cathedral Grove, on southern Vancouver Island, with Rose Spit, at the northern end of the Queen Charlotte Islands and Jumbo Creek, near Invermere in the Rocky Mountains, you will have created a triangle that encompasses most of British Columbia's environmental battles.
