Monsanto puts GM wheat before regulators

WINNIPEG, Manitoba – Monsanto Co. (MON.N). has asked Canadian and U.S. regulators to attest to the safety of its genetically modified wheat, moving another step closer toward commercializing the grain, company officials said.
