N.B. naturalist looks back on 50 years in Canada

Mary's Point, N.B. – 'I always had a motherly feeling toward it [Bay of Fundy].'
One of New Brunswick's most celebrated naturalists has been honoured. Fifty years ago Mary Majka arrived from post-war Europe. She landed at Halifax's Pier 21 where a ceremony was held recently marking her arrival. Along with her husband and young family, she eventually settled in rural Albert County. There, she discovered the fascinating nature of the Fundy Shore.
