Conservations want some clearcutting stopped now

Fredericton, N.B. – New Brunswick environmentalists want the province to make forestry companies follow tougher watershed protection procedures right away, even before they come into effect. The Conservation Council of New Brunswick says there are reports of cutting now where it will soon be banned, in sensitive areas that supply drinking water.
