Canada Signs and Ratifies Global Agreement on Dangerous Pollutants

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 23, 2001 ? Theprotection of human health and the environment both took a step forward today with Canada's signature and ratification of a global agreement that will dramatically reduce or eliminate emissions of twelve toxic substances.
