The EARTH Project is a four-year, multi-nation arts initiative that explores issues of global sustainability and social justice through the eyes of young people. A network of arts organizations from the North and the South, that work with, and for, teenagers will collaborate in a process that will bring together youth, artists, and youth-driven environmental and social justice organizations. We will collaborate in a series of creative workshops here in Canada and in the countries of the EARTH partners in 2003/4. Live-productions, exhibitions, media and community events will then be created in each partnering centre 2004/5. The Project culminates in a large-scale festival, which will bring all the work together in Canada in 2006.
