After delivering to the ministry a load of two-by-fours manufactured by AbitibiBowater, Canada’s largest and most destructive logging company, a dozen Greenpeace activists chained themselves to the building doors, at 880 Chemin Sainte-Foy in Quebec City. Ottawa – The Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) is celebrating the historic announcement today by Environment Minister Jim Prentice and DehCho First Nations Grand Chief Gerald Antoine of the final boundaries for the greatly expanded Nahanni National Park Reserve in the Northwest Territories. St. John’s Farmers’ Market

The second season of the St. John’s Farmers’ Market got off to an exciting start on Saturday, June 6th, 2009 with record-breaking attendance. Over 1400 people hungry for local food showed up and caused many vendors to sell out early.
