The North American Native Plant Society is proud to present noted author and native plant expert Lorraine Johnson at the North York Central Library Auditorium (5120 Yonge St., Toronto) on Monday, March 30th at 7:30 speaking on the topic of “Flowers and Food: Growing Edible Native Plants”. This talk is the first of two presentations that will be videoed and edited and made available online thanks to generous funding from The McLean Foundation.

In this illustrated talk, Lorraine Johnson will combine two timely and popular subjects—urban agriculture and native plant gardening—and inspire gardeners to grow edible native plants on their own properties.
