A national conference aimed at drawing attention to conservation and stewardship issues will be held in western Newfoundland and Labrador this summer. Valuing Nature: Stewardship and Conservation in Canada 2006 will be held in Corner Brook July 5 – 8 at the Pepsi Centre and Sir Wilfred Grenfell College. Held every three years, Stewardship and Conservation in Canada is a national conference that has been attracting participants from a wide variety of backgrounds, including all levels of government, non-profit organizations, industry and Aboriginal groups from across Canada and beyond.
