The Conservation Youth Corps (CYC) is a new youth program of Credit Valley Conservation (or CVC, not to be confused with CYC) for high school students living or going to school in the Credit River area. CVC is one of 36 conservation authorities across Ontario with the responsibility to ensure the conservation, restoration and responsible management (in our case) of the Credit River, as well as that of the land and natural habitats throughout the watershed. This program supports that mandate by providing environmental/conservation-focused volunteer opportunities for our local youth. We have been in business for 53 years and have accumulated a great deal of knowledge and experience that we hope to pass on.
