Spend an evening with Survivorman Les Stroud and Indigenous Elder Dave Courchene, as they reveal the survival secrets of the world’s oldest tribes in a fundraiser to support the Vision Quest & Ma Koose Ka Win Ceremonies.
Presented by the Institute for Traditional Medicine, all proceeds from this event will be used to support The Vision Quest & Makoose Ka Win project, a First Nation initiative that re-introduces the traditional rites of passage for women and men.

What is the message of the natural world and what is it telling us at this time of urgency? The wisdom of Indigenous peoples is being sought to lead us into an alternate future where we can use the best of traditional wisdom to rebuild authentic communities and initiate healing on individual and collective levels.
It should be an extraordinary evening and a rare opportunity to learn from two remarkable visionaries who have spent their lives as students of the natural world.
Les Stroud (Survivorman) is an award winning filmmaker, outdoor adventurer, singer-songwriter and performer.
Dave Courchene (Nii Gaani Aki Innini – Leading Earth Man), is an Anishnabe spiritual leader. He has created a special place for sharing ancient Indigenous knowledge – The Turtle Lodge – which was inspired by a vision Courchene received many years ago during a vision quest.
