Get with the GIG – (Green Impact Guelph)

Guelph Environmental Leadership (GEL) wants every home in Guelph to
“Get with the GIG” (Green Impact Guelph), a project to accelerate
household conservation supported by Union Gas, the Ontario Ministry of
Energy, the City of Guelph, and others.

The GIG is a community-wide initiative that is looking to accelerate household energy and water conservation. It is a project that is coordinated by the Guelph Environmental Leadership (GEL) and is supported by the City of Guelph, the Ministry of Energy, Union Gas and many others.

The project began with the distribution of 16,000 conservation kits across the City of Guelph. Currently, we are encouraging kit recipients to install all components of the kit and we are asking all Guelph residents to take a short online survey (participation in the survey will give you a change to win great environmentally-friendly prizes!).
