•LEARN TO PADDLE INSTRUCTORS – one of the areas we will need the most support! We want to have 50 kids in the water for this year’s Learn to Paddle. That means we need about 20 experienced instructors who can help teach the basics of paddling and water safety to our 18 and under paddlers. Most will be first time paddlers.
•PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEOGRAPHY & LIVE SOCIAL MEDIA – there will be SO many opportunities to catch an amazing shot. We want to capture as many as possible, from as many perspectives a possible! This year we will be offering a “photo booth” at the water’s edge to get a picturesque shot with sponsors, corporations, individuals, our Youth and VIPs in attendance. Also, we would like to collaborate with a student crew who would like to produce a video for us. And finally, no event would be complete without social media! Help us tell our story online with real-time posts Paddletherougeprint-52
•INFO TABLES – there will be information tables stationed in the park, to help park users understand who we are, the purpose of our event, and why we are taking over their park for the day.
•RUNNERS (with own vehicle a plus) – to assist with any type of last minute detail that might come up. We’ve run out of something! We need to get something up to the top of the course! Whatever might come up, we’ll call on you to give a hand.
•LITTER PICK UP – to assist our Sustainability Team in making sure Rouge Beach Park is returned to even better condition than before we arrived!
•TEAR DOWN – to assist our team in taking everything down and packing it up!
