Rouge Park Reptile and Amphibian Awareness Day – August 9, 2011

Learn about the unique lives of amphibians and reptiles and how to participate in the Ontario Reptile and Amphibian Atlas. You will learn how to identify reptile and amphibian species through a series of informative presentations and then go for a hike in Rouge Park in search of these amazing creatures! This event is hosted by Ontario Nature, Rouge Park and Adopt-a-Pond.

Coffee and registration begin at 9:30AM
Presentation start at 10:00AM sharp

There will be a suggested donation of $5 and kids under 5 are FREE!

For more information or to RSVP, contact jamesp@ontarionature.org or call (416) 444-8419 x 243 so that you can be added to the participant list. Please RSVP by August 5th and space is limited so please register as soon as possible!

Note: please bring sunscreen, snacks and water and plan to have lunch after the event. Please also dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
