Nova Scotia’s DriveWiser, a fuel efficiency program run by the non-profit Clean Nova Scotia, is partnering with auto dealers and service centres around the province to offer drivers a chance to stretch their fuel dollars and make their vehicles fuel efficient.
Between October 4 and 9, DriveWiser’s Green Check Up program will offer residents a free analysis of the vehicle components which affect fuel consumption and vehicle emissions.
A poorly maintained vehicle can waste up to half of every tank of gas and release up to 100 times more pollution than a well maintained car. This could be the equivalent of over $600 per year.
