YWCA’s Youth Eco Internship Program

The YWCA Vancouver has successfully launched the Youth Eco Internship Program (YEIP), a national program that comes on the heels of the government’s redefined agenda to promote labour skills in our imminent eco-savvy generation.

Through this innovative scheme, funded by Canada’s Economic Action Plan, the YWCA Canada will be placing 300 young, diverse, unemployed Canadians aged 15-30 on paid three-, six- or nine-month internships.

Intern and host recruitment has just commenced for young people, as well as for interested environmental, community and women’s services organizations, however, priority will be given to internships having an environmental focus.

If you are a youth or an organization, please visit www.yeip.ca to review the eligibility criteria and complete an online application.
