Graduate flies high leading environmental team at Vancouver International Airport

Reducing the environmental impact of a major airport is a challenge at any time.
However, when the airport is near one of the world’s largest salmon runs and an important staging area for more than one million migrating birds, the issues become even more complex.
Heading the team which has made Vancouver International Airport (YVR) an environmental leader is Anne Murray, Vice-President of Community and Environmental Affairs. She graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1988 with a double major in Environment and Resource Studies and Biology.
