On a wing and a prayer, Beaker will present your petitions in Ottawa on March 11. His living, breathing presence in Ottawa will remind decision-makers of the dangers posed by rapid development and slow conservation.
The South Okanagan-Similkameen remains one of Canada’s most endangered ecosystems. Over a third of British Columbia’s species at risk now cling to this vanishing world and Beaker’s one of them.
