In Eco-House Challenge,
energy, water, transport and waste removal are shut down until further
notice for two very different families: the Edwards, a large, frugal
family; and the Shepherds, a small, affluent family. Over several
weeks, while still living their normal lives, both families must
radically reduce consumption and learn to live sustain ably with help
