Big, plump and juicy – this is the chicken we know, and that we love to eat. Fowl looks at the history of the chicken: from its early days as a jungle bird, to the highly cultivated animal produced for our mass consumption.

Andrew Legge lives in Dublin and works as a filmmaker. His last film

The Unusual Inventions of Henry Cavendish won a number of awards including Best Director at the Kerry Film Festival, Best Short Drama and Best New Director at the Celtic Media Festival. Fowl is his first documentary.
