Lush couple to open vegan Be store before Christmas

LUSH AND LUSHER: Sales rose as pants dropped at the Robson Street Lush store recently. Staff of the 600-outlet, British-based handmade-cosmetics firm dropped their trousers worldwide in an orchestrated bid to have shoppers say no to unnecessary product packaging.


Mark Wolverton and wife Karen Delaney-Wolverton, who have controlled Lush’s North American operations since 1996 — 50 per cent in Canada, 40 per cent in the U.S. — attended the saucy hoopla. She actually participated, as befits a longtime fashion model who will soon portray a Canada Post letter carrier in a national advertising campaign.
