CBC.ca Arts – Gore gears up for globe-trotting Live Earth concert series
Environmental activist Al Gore, internationally renowned musicians The Police, Madonna, the Beastie Boys and about 150 other musical acts and celebrities are gearing up for Saturday’s globe-trotting series of Live Earth concerts.
Spearheaded by former U.S. vice-president Gore and concert promoter Kevin Wall, the events designed to focus public awareness on the issue of climate change will stretch across the globe.
