The Vancouver Renewable Energy Cooperative (VREC) is a registered cooperative assisting homeowners, coops and organizations to install affordable renewable energy systems. It was registered as a cooperative in BC July 2004.
We assist people who want to install solar electrical and thermal systems with information, installation help, and group pricing negotiation.
We provide opportunities for volunteers and customers to assist with installations and learn about renewable energy systems. (Click on Projects or Products and Services to learn more.)
We are a member of the BC Sustainable Energy Association and the Business Alliance for Local Living Economies (BALLE BC). We are a not for profit organization, run by a volunteer board.
