The Climate Project is a movement to educate and challenge citizens, and governments into action against the growing crisis of global warming. As a non-profit group, we work to bring education, community information, research and citizen action programs to communities across the country. Our first initiative, sponsored by Participant Productions, is the training of 1,000 lecturers who will present the information delivered in An Inconvenient Truth to audiences across America.

THE CLIMATE PROJECT – CANADA (TCP – Canada)
Al Gore will be delivering a training session for 200 Canadians, in Canada, in early 2008. The Climate Project – Canada (TCP Canada) has been established as a non-profit organization to manage and coordinate this training session as well as follow up support and activities for presenters.

I have be chosen as one of the 200 trainees of the Climate Project Canada and am very excited to receive this training. This will give me the tools I need to get out into my community and talk about climate change and the solutions to climate change.
