The Green Mile Relay: cross-province walk to the Nova Scotia Legislature; begins next Friday, Nov. 10 in the Annapolis Valley; Climate Action Now is bringing 52 green ribbons that the elected MLAs will be eligible to wear once their respective caucuses have watched Al Gore’s documentary about climate change. The green ribbons are being sold to raise money for sustainable transportation, but also being awarded to invidividuals making a difference, like David Suzuki, Raffi, Elizabeth May. We encourage other communities and provinces to assign their own sustainable causes to green ribbons – because it all helps slow down climate change.
