During the month of October, students from all over the world participate in either a Walk to School Day, Week or Month by walking or biking to school together with parents, school staff or community leaders. This year in Canada, we will celebrate this event during the week of October 2-6, 2006. Canadian schools can register online here and receive a toolkit to help them organize the event. Schools are also eligible for prizes based on the percentage of participation.
