Vandals destroy rare birds’ nests in Magdalen Islands

Wildlife officials in the Magdalen Islands are searching for vandals who destroyed the nests of an endangered species of bird. Someone driving an all-terrain vehicle ran over piping plover nests last month, smashing through cages built to protect the birds’ eggs.
