Ottawa- Despite data released today by the federal government showing that Canada might be as much as 40% above its target under the Kyoto Protocol, Canada can meet its Kyoto targets by 2012. The announcement, although disturbing, is not surprising, and should not be cause for defeatism in the Harper government.
