TORONTO, April 26 /CNW/ – Interest in joining the Asia-Pacific Partnership on Clean Development and Climate (known as AP6) expressed by Environment Minister Rona Ambrose yesterday indicates that the federal Government is willing to accept runaway climate change, says WWF, the global conservation organization. The AP6, made up of the United States, China, India, Australia, Japan and South Korea, focuses on trade and transfer of technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions without setting targets and timelines.
