Sticking to the environment at Velcro Canada

Second-year Environment and Business student Rashna Rahman is spending her co-op work term helping Velcro Canada, the maker of hook and loop everyone knows as “Velcro,” to reduce its environmental impact. Rashna is helping to manage the company’s environmental management systems registration, tracking spills, monitoring hazardous waste disposal, and leading an electricity reduction project.
