Green Library Wins Innovation Award

It’s the waterless urinals that get them every time. After all, people who come to libraries have inquiring minds, so when they see nothing but a small silver plaque where the flush-valve usually is in the men’s room of the Semiahmoo Library, they want to know why. “They’re very curious about how do they work, where is it going?” says Trish Miller, branch manager of Canada’s first certified “green” library.
