WATERLOO, March 1 /CNW Telbec/ – Greenpeace made the second stop on its
week long tour of southern and southwestern Ontario cities in Waterloo today,
calling on shoppers to stop buying Kleenex brand tissue products. The Valumart
on King Street South and its manager were asked by activists wearing Forest
Crimes Unit uniforms to return Kleenex brand products to their manufacturer
Kimberly-Clark. The tissue products are evidence of the senseless destruction
of Canada's ancient Boreal forest.
