Sierra Club of BC – Marine Program

The BC Chapter is dedicated to conserving B.C.'s marine ecosystems by fostering conservation-based policies and practices that maintain ecological functioning, biological diversity, and species abundance. The conservation goals of the Marine Program are to ensure that the public interest in the conservation of all marine resources is afforded the highest policy priority; human activities are managed in ways consistent with that priority; and that policies are informed by the most rigorous, science-based conservation principles.
