The Clean Air Strategic Alliance's (CASA) vehicle emissions team and several partners are working together to find ways to reduce transportation emissions. There have been many technological advances to help reduce pollutants from cars, trucks, and other types of vehicles. Now there is technology called the diesel particulate filter (DPF) to reduce emissions from some heavy-duty diesel-powered vehicles.
