WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Zoological Society is scrambling to put together a business case to keep the zoo in Assiniboine Park alive. Little has been said about last year's to revamp the zoo, which would cost $50 million in its first phase. Now, city councillors are setting budgetary priorities, and the zoological society is scrambling to make its case for survival.
