<p>On May 21st, Nova Scotian environmental groups played recordings of
seismic blasting in Downtown Halifax, in particular for the
Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board and the Provincial
Legislature. The demonstration took place in Parade Square.
Their goal is to stop the CNSOPB from permitting petroleum
exploration in the Southern Gulf of St. Lawrence and off Cape
Breton.<br>
