The Honourable Robert D. Nault, Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development Canada, the Honourable Anne McLellan, Minister of Health Canada and the Honourable David Anderson, Minister of Environment Canada, today announced $600 million in new funding targeted towards improving the quality of water and wastewater treatment in First Nations communities. This funding was provided in the February 2003 federal Budget and builds on the Government of Canada?s investments in water.
