Environmental Groups Support Mackenzie Valley Land and Water Board Against Court Challenge by Mining Company

Two environmental groups will be in the NWT Supreme Court today in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories to support the Mackenzie Valley Land and Water Board. The Board ordered an environmental assessment of the operations at the CanTung mine, located near Nahanni National Park Reserve. The mine owner, North American Tungsten Corporation Ltd., is trying to overturn that decision.
